Can you say cold? It was bitter in early January at Sugarbush. Temps in the single digits at high noon. Conditions were mixed with the glades having the best conditions. It snowed hard the week before but those northeast winds blew it into the woods. Exposed trails were, well lets just say ice is an under statement. Rime coated all the upper mountain lifts. On the positive side, Sugarbush resort was trying hard to get some snow on the bad spots. (fyi, camera date is wrong on pic)....more to come.
